IGC - Interfacial Gas Chromatography

One powerful way to investigate the HSP of semi-liquids, semi-solids such as pharmaceutical/cosmetic excipients, oligomers, surfactants is via IGC. Although this approach to HSP has been around for some decdes, much of it has been performed without the necessary attention to the correct theory and best experimental practice.

In recent years, a fruitful partnership between the HSPiP team and the team at Adscientis has resulted in a more robust methodology. Modern IGC equipment allows rapid measurement of the key parameters and the IGC tool within HSPiP has been greatly improved to make analysis faster and more accurate.
